Our farm is now in its fifth generation, still working the same land our family homesteaded in 1909. After more than a century here, we have learned a lot. We have always tried to grow the best crops we could in the Golden Triangle, but like many farmers, we got caught up in a system where cashflow and bigger yields felt like the only way to stay afloat. It wasn’t until chemically resistant weeds showed up that we realized we needed to rethink our approach. We could see the path we were on wasn’t healthy for our land or for the people who depend on what we grow.
So, we shifted our focus. We read, we studied, we listened and we prayed. If we wanted to support our own and our customers’ health, it had to start with the soil. The soil is the cornerstone of life on earth, and when we work to heal and regenerate it, everything else becomes healthier too.

With our semi-arid climate and low relative humidity, the grains we grow and produce are not tainted with the disease and other quality issues that plague grain growers in the more moist, high production areas of the wheat belt. Growers and grain facilities in the Golden Triangle frequently entertain trade expeditions from health-conscious Japan, and other Pacific Rim countries, seeking to know, tour and inevitably purchase grain from this area.

Since its beginning our farm has been dedicated to growing quality, 100% all-natural, chemical-free grains.
We do not plant controversial GMO (genetically modified/genetically altered) or little known Clearfield varieties on our farm. It is imperative for the future health of this nation and the world that we prevent any more crops from being destroyed by Biotech or GMO developed by greedy corporations. Clearfield varieties have no visible differences from original wheat varieties. However, in reality, Clearfield wheat is only slightly different from a GMO. That is to say that it has herbicide-resistant genes which allow a farmer to use certain chemicals to control weeds in the growing crop which would otherwise kill a natural variety of wheat. Without continuous laboratory intervention in the seed production process, Clearfield varieties would soon be unfit for consumption, thus putting our food supply at risk.
